For the past 16 years, we here at GT Sport Taekwondo have been dedicated to providing the finest state of the art training techniques to our students while maintaining a fun atmosphere. We have assisted hundreds of young people to become outstanding, hard working, leaders of the community from the efforts they put forth. Our Traditional program will improve the students respect ,courtesy and listening skills while teaching the importance of a good work ethic, attention to detail, and positive mental attitude. Our goal will be to produce an individual who is respectful to parents, attentive in school, courteous to friends as well as being a top all around martial artist. Our Sport Taekwondo program is internationally recognized as one of the finest. The student will again be exposed to the most up to date physical training techniques to produce agility, speed, and power while at the same time providing an extensive palate of strategy on how to be successful in competition. Students usually greatly supplement other sports by what they learn in the sport class. This program is by invitation only, however the prospect need only to have a strong desire and we will do the rest.

TRADITIONAL GT Sport Taekwondo is not only one of the finest Sport Taekwondo schools globally, but has continually produced well versed, all around martial artist who enhance their day to day lives with teachings and concepts of the traditional Taekwondo of Korea. Each person that enrolls will start their martials arts career in the traditional class learning the building blocks, punching, stances, blocks, kicks, self defense, balance, to help them perform physically, as well as learning respect, courtesy, leadership, self control, listening skills, work ethic, all presented in a fun and positive manner by staff of home grown, well trained and experienced instructors. Testing will be every three months and that is the minimum time at each belt. If the student has maintained class attendance, has met the parents respect and behavior guidelines, and has been checked off on each skill in that belt's ciricullum, then the student will be asked to test. There will be a promotion test the last Saturday of each month where the student must perform punching, blocks, kicks, poomse (form), kicking combinations, free sparring, board breaking, with adult students asked to also perform one step sparring and self defense. The traditional class is vital and can't be underestimated, as it builds the students confidence, self esteem, and physical skills necessary to perform well at higher levels.

Master Greg Tubbs is the owner and head instructor of GT Sport . Tubbs is proud to be the Head Coach of the AAU National Team, was voted 2008 US Olympic Committee Coach of the Year, 2001 USAT Coach of the Year, 2005 USAT Pan Am Coach, 2005 Albanian Team coach, 2011 Cambodian National Team coach, was featured in the "WALL STREET JOURNAL" for his instruction as well as a featured story on "GOOD MORNING AMERICA".

Joseph Gjonaj, 28, has been with GT Sport for 15 years. He is a two-time USAT Team member 2000-2001, AAU Team member 2008, Albanian Team member 2005-present, is a two time US Open Champion 2001, 2006, Competed in 2008 Olympic trials in Turkey, European Championships in 2006 in Riga, Latvia and 2008 in St. Petersberg Ruusia, 2005 World Championships in Madrid, Spain. 2001 German Open Silver medalist and 2002 Spain Open bronze medalist.

Daren Sok Tubbs, 22, has been with GT Sport for 14 years. He is a two time US TEAM member 2005-2006, Cambodian Team member 2006-present, he is a eight-time US National Champion, competed in Pan Am Championships 2005 and World Champioships 2006 for the US. For Cambodia, Daren has competed in 2006 Asian Games Doha,Qatar, 2007 SEA Games Bangkok, Thailand, 2006 Puerto Rico Olympiad Gold medalist and was Silver medalist, 2007 ATF Gold medalist in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam and plans to qualify for the 2012 Olympics.

JOSEPH GJONAJ The first GT Sport student to make the National Team in 2000 and 2001. Competed in 2000 World Championships in Killarney, Ireland. Competed for Albanian National Team fought in 2005 World Championships in Madrid, Spain, two European Championships in Riga, Latvia and St. Petersberg, Russia and 2008 European Olympic Qualifier in Istanbul, Turkey.IZABEL GJONAJ Izabel made the US National team with her brother in 2001 in the womens bantam weight division. Izabel was two time National Champion and another five time medalist.KAI WILLIAMSON Kai made the US National Tean in 2002 and competed in the 2002 Jr World Championships in Athens, Greece. Kai was three time National Champion and three time runner-up and has competed in Germany, Korea and Taiwan.DAREN TUBBS Daren made the US National Team in 2005 and in 2006, competed in 2005 Pan American Championships in Aruba and the 2006 World Championships in Viet Nam. Daren was eight time National Champion, another four time medalist, US Open Champion. Fighting for Cambodia he competed in 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar, 2007 SEA Games in Bangkok, Thailand and took Silver medal, 2007 ATF Championship in Viet Nam where he took Gold.KASEY MALLARD Kasey made the US National Team in 2005 and 2006, and competed in 2005 Pan American Championships in Aruba and 2006 World Championships in Viet Nam. Kasey was four time Natinal Champion and competed to Quarter-finals in 2008 World University Games in Serbia.RYAN NUNNS Ryan made the 2006 AAU National Team. Ryan was Four time National Champion and another three time medalist, and is enjoying a career in the Navy.SELINA TUBBS Selina was a two time US National Team member in 2008 and in 2010. Selina competed in 2008 World Championships in Izmir, Turkey and won Gold medal. Fought in Tijuana, Mexico for the Youth Olympic Games. Selina was 2008 German Open gold medalist, US Open gold medalist and competed in Korea.ANEES HASNAIN Anees was two time Dutch Open Champion, two time German Open Champion, Four time US National Silver medalist and three time AAU National team member. Anees made it to the final match for the 2008 Olympics where she lost a contro- versial fight.CARLOS NAVARRO Carlos is a five time US National Champion and five time US Open Champion. Made the 2010 Mexico National Team and won the 2010 World Championships in Tijuana, Mexico. Carlos travels with the Mexico National Team and has been to Korea twice and placed third in the 2011 Korean Open.SIMONA HRADIL Simona came to GT Sport in 1997 as a US Team member. She went on to successfully make the US National team for the next three years and won the 1998 Pan American TKD champinships
